Jet grouting equipment

Jet grouting equipment is a professional equipment used in engineering fields such as foundation reinforcement and soil improvement. Jet grouting is a construction technology used to reinforce foundations, form underground structures or water-stop curtains. It sprays cement slurry or other chemical solutions into the soil through high pressure, mixes the soil with the slurry, and thus hardens and forms a consolidated body with certain strength and anti-seepage properties.

Jet grouting equipment is a device that uses the principle of high-pressure spraying to inject cement slurry or other solidifying materials into the foundation or soil. It is mainly used for engineering purposes such as reinforcing weak foundations, improving foundation bearing capacity, preventing foundation settlement, and filling voids and cracks.

The equipment combines the down-the-hole hammer impactor and high-pressure jetting technology, and can form a consolidation body with a larger diameter and higher strength under the action of high-frequency vibration and high-pressure jetting.

Application fields of jet grouting equipment:
Jet grouting equipment is widely used in various engineering fields, such as:
Construction engineering: used to strengthen soft foundations and improve foundation bearing capacity.
Transportation engineering: used for foundation reinforcement and slope protection of transportation facilities such as highways and railways.
Water conservancy engineering: used for foundation treatment and anti-seepage reinforcement of water conservancy facilities such as reservoirs and embankments.
Mining engineering: used for foundation reinforcement and void filling during mining.

Main components of jet grouting equipment:
1. Drilling rig:
– Used to drill holes to a predetermined depth at the target location. Jet grouting usually requires vertical or inclined drilling, so the drill rig must be able to accurately control the drilling direction.
2. High-pressure pump:
– Provides a sufficiently high pressure (usually 200-400 bar) to ensure that the slurry can effectively penetrate the soil. For the triple tube method, an additional air compressor is required to generate airflow to assist the injection.
3. Grout Mixing Plant:
– Responsible for preparing high-quality cement slurry or other types of grouting materials. The system needs to be equipped with accurate metering devices to ensure the consistency of the slurry composition.
4. Jetting Rods or Pipes:
– Extending from the ground to the bottom of the borehole, with nozzles inside. The nozzle design will also vary depending on the jetting method. For example, the single tube method uses a nozzle to spray slurry; the double tube method adds an outer ring nozzle to spray air; the triple tube method adds an outer water injection ring on this basis.
5. Control System:
– Includes operating panels and monitoring instruments to control parameters such as pressure, flow, rotation speed, etc. during the entire jetting process, and record relevant data for subsequent analysis.
6. Lifting Device:
– During the jetting process, the jetting rod needs to be slowly lifted to ensure an evenly distributed consolidation effect. The lifting speed is usually determined by engineering requirements and is precisely controlled by special equipment.

Jetting methods
– Single Fluid Jet Grouting: Use a single high-pressure grouting method.
– Dual Fluid Jet Grouting: Jet high-pressure air and grouting at the same time to enhance the crushing effect.
– Triple Fluid Jet Grouting: Combine water, air and grouting for jetting, suitable for more complex geological conditions.
